Based at our head office located in Ripley, Derbyshire

We have a great opportunity in our head office store at Ripley If you can share our customers’ passion for our exquisite dolls’ houses and accessories, offer exceptional service and ensure their shopping experience leaves them feeling they can’t wait to return, this permanent role could be for you. Although experience in retail would be useful, it isn’t essential. The store is open 7 days a week and hours are on a rota basis. We offer a competitive rate of pay.

German Speaking Customer Service Advisor

Due to targeting new overseas markets we now have great opportunities in our customer service / sales department. We are soon to be launching our German website and you will be involved in dealing with German as well as English speaking customers directly over the ‘phone or by email, keying in order information onto our bespoke computer system, order enquiries and various administrative tasks such as translating text. We are looking for staff who can quickly connect with our customers, providing a service and experience which is second to none. To be successful in this role you will require fluency (speaking and written) in both German and English, accurate keyboard skills and be a good communicator and people person. Office / admin experience (ideally sales, service or support) would be useful and common sense and enthusiasm are essential. Hours are full time or part time. We offer a very competitive hourly pay rate.

Paid Graduate Design Intern with CAD Skills

Based at our head office located in Ripley, Derbyshire

We have become the unrivalled market leader through continually developing and expanding our designs and product offering which comprises in excess of 2,500 individual items, and there are numerous activities and initiatives underway to broaden our brand exposure. We are looking for a technically competent individual to undertake product research, sketch designs, construct prototypes, produce 3D, detailed and specification drawings and complete admin tasks such as registering design protection. There will be opportunities to become involved in other initiatives such as product photography, display and promotion. You’ll need design flair, accuracy, good time management skills and be able to follow established working methods. Experience using CAD (Autodesk Inventor or similar), Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft is required and Adobe Acrobat would be useful. If you have a degree or will qualify this year, in product design or a related subject, in which competency in CAD (Autodesk Inventor or similar) has been achieved, this might just be the opportunity you have been looking for to kick start your career. This is a paid internship initially for a period of up to 12 months, but may lead to a permanent role for the right person.
