The Dolls House Emporium website (www.dollshouse.com),‘the website’, is owned and operated by MyHobbyStore Retail Limited, registered in England and Wales (company registration number 07882931) at High Holborn Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3YD. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number Z628004X). GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
These apply to any order placed through the website; you must read these general terms and conditions of sale. By placing an order through the website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these in their entirety. We have taken all reasonable precautions to try ensure accuracy of prices and product descriptions. However, when ordering, please note that:
- orders are accepted on the basis that there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their advertised price
- packaging may vary from that shown
- the weights and dimensions shown are approximate only
- whilst we try to replicate colours accurately, actual colours you see depends on your monitor and we cannot guarantee that the colour you see will accurately reflect the actual colour
- all products are subject to availability

The website terms and conditions apply to your use of the website at www.dollshouse.com. By accessing, browsing, using or registering with the website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the website terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by the account holder to protect their account.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
Completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your order which takes place only when we despatch your products. Products remain our property until we have received payment in full from you. Card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer and we take payment when you place your order. If your payment is not received before products are delivered to you, payment must be made or the products returned within 30 days, in the same condition that you received them, and at your own expense. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to any product that is subject of an unpaid order.
Delivery timescales vary depending on products ordered and delivery address. We aim to despatch orders the same day by first class post or speedy carrier. We aim to keep stock of all items, but should anything be temporarily unavailable or delayed for reasons beyond our control we aim to keep you informed and send it on to uk addresses within 28 days. If we are unable to supply the product ordered, or give a firm delivery date, we will inform you and, if you have already paid, refund you in full within 28 days if you do not wish to order an alternative.
GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY (UK ONLY)
When time is short, particularly after the last Royal Mail posting date for Christmas, you may wish to take advantage of next day delivery for an additional charge of £4.95. In order to receive a next day delivery, please ensure you place your order before 1.00 pm on a weekday. This service is available only on normal working days (Monday-Friday) and only within the UK mainland.
POSTAGE AND PACKING
Our postage and packing charges can be seen in our postage and packing section.
Due to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions to orders for international delivery, some of our products may not be available for delivery to certain destinations outside the UK. We reserve the right to define what can be delivered to which destination.
Our service is designed to make you feel comfortable and secure. If you are not completely satisfied with any item from us, you may return it within 30 days in the original packaging for a full refund, including any outward postal charge. This special no-quibble guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. We do not want you to accept anything from us that is not completely satisfactory in every way.

DAMAGED, INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED PRODUCTS OR CANCELLATION
Please check products received against your order. If a product is damaged, incorrectly supplied or if you change your mind and simply want to cancel a product delivered, please inform us by post, phone or e-mail within 7 days of delivery. The product must be returned to us within 30 days of delivery. Please note that we are unable to accept the return of any damaged, incorrectly supplied or cancelled products if we have not been informed within 7 days of delivering them. Products should be returned in their original packaging, promptly at the customer cost.
If you choose to return a product to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage in transit and we reserve the right to charge you or not to refund any amounts attributable to such loss or damage. We therefore recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.
HAND BUILT HOUSES – order, despatch and guarantee
Delivery will be advised upon receipt of order.
Delivery is conditional upon our staff having direct access to your property and assuming that the route and the room is large enough to accommodate your goods. In the event that the route and room are not large enough we cannot accept liability or responsibility and in the event that delivery is unable to be made we will make a charge which may be in excess of £100 to cover the cost of delivery.
To make sure you’re completely satisfied our staff will ask you to inspect your goods carefully before signing for delivery. Please note that we are unable to accept the return of a damaged or incorrectly supplied hand built house if we have not been informed within 7 days of delivering it. If goods have been signed for as accepted in good condition, we are unable to accept return of a damaged product unless reasonable inspection would not have revealed that it was damaged or in some way defective. Collection arrangements for the return of a damaged or incorrectly supplied hand built house must be made promptly at the customer cost (in excess of £100 in some cases) which will be notified at the time.

USE OF THE WEBSITE
You may use, download and print content on the website solely for your own personal use or internal business purposes. You may not without our prior written consent:
