Best Birthday present ever!!!
I got the April Cottage and Barn for my 12th birthday and wow wee was i impressed the doll house is just beautiful and we got it built in 2 days (thanks dad). I love it its so detailed and its the best thing in our house; well I think so anyway!!!. Now the decision is where to put it as I have a garden and conservatory to fit on as well its HUGE!!! Thank you Dolls House Emporium for giving me the best birthday present ever and also to my Nana and Pa for buying it. This will be my pride and joy for many years to come and i cant wait to collect more things. Used for 1-3 months

Thiswas my first doll house at first i was not sure what to get than i decided on April cottage best decition ever i m really happy with it .It was very easy to built and the instractions very helpful i ll definitly recomand it to anyone espesial people starting this hobby Used for 1-3 months

I think that this product is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
But we got it in a kit and may I say myself and my dad found it very tricky to assemble and we are still assembling it but my advice is to not dry build it if you are not very patient
t with very fiddly things like a dolls house because ours fell apart when we tried to dry build it.
But I also would like to say that the dolls houses are a lot bigger than you expect and that you would probably have to get a man to carry the box it comes in, but the stairs are really impressive and I as a child of 10 would give this a definate rating of 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway happy building :) Used for over 5 years

Beautiful
I bought this as my first dolls house. As im a beginner i went for quick style. The dolls house and the barn arrived in perfect condition. All beautifully wrapped up.
The house and barn now takes pride of place in the living room. Im doing my house based as a 1940's cottage in period style. Its not finished as im looking for authentic looking lino and wall papers for each room. The furniture is being made from Jane Harrop kits. A long project but well worth it!

My husband bought me April Cottage last Christmas mainly because I never forgot the one I had as a child. That one too had lights and glass windows but not as pretty as April Cottage. The interior is unusual with the staircases at a different angle than the ones with hallways.
It is an absorbing hobby and keeps me happy for hours making curtains, cushions etc. It is nearly finished now, so what will I do then? Buy another of course! Used for 6-12 months

April Cottage Kit
This is my first dolls house - having wanted one since I was a child and I absolutely love it!

It was very simple to put together, even for a novice and looks absolutely beautiful now I am getting the decorating done! Used for 1-3 months

my 30th birthday present
my fiance kindly bought me this in february as my 30th birthday present i already have mountfield so wanted something a little different this time. i loved building it and putting in the lights and seeing it bit by bit coming together the barn is still to be added on but thats waiting for when i have a little more time to spend on it plus i'm still enjoying getting bits and pieces to make it look like a home. i would recommend this to anyone. Used for 1-3 months

Hi i was given april cottage quickstyle for christmas,its my first dollshouse and I love it .I would recomend it to any first timer as it not to big but still very nice . I am pleased by how clear the instrutions are and the flexabilty of quickstyle is great ,you chose what wallpaper you want while still having the outside painted.I love the fact the staircase is different and more interesting than typical dolls houses. You do have to be patient and while making it. The quality is good and sevice fab. Used for 3-6 months

Lovely cottage
I was delighted with my quick build cottage and barn. The only problem that I had was that I was so impatient to build it, that the instructions were not followed correctly hence I came up against a few problems that could have been avoided. So my tip is to follow the instructions and may be follow the advise given on the master classes.
If there are any problems with your kit , one quick phone call and it is easily solved. Used for 6-12 months

I've had so much fun!
I bought the April Cottage like five months ago and I couldn't wait till it would finally arrive at my doorstep. But when I came back from school only three days after I placed my order (which is really quick because I live in the Netherlands) the box was already there! I started screaming and yelling, I was just so happy! When I started building, it appeared that it was very easy, because the instructions were all very clear and the pictures very helpful. I finished my house like two weeks later, and I was so proud! It looks stunning and I still can't get enough of it.
Now I'm ordering furniture to fill my house and I know that it would be the best experience I've ever had. Used for 3-6 months

The quickstyle houses are brilliant!!! i was going to buy a kit of april cottage but was a bit scared of messing up such a big project!

I love messing and creating things so i wasnt sure about the quickstyle...when is arrived in all the peices my creative needs were more than satisfied!!

I really enjoyed building every bit of it and doing the lighting and decorating. Because i am 13 everyone who saw the house never beleived i had built and decorated it all by myself and i always get exited when ive just bought even the smallest thing for it because i love to experiment!

it was such an exellent project and you get the perfection of the paint work with you might not get by yourself, the quickstyle is indeed worth the money! Used for 1-3 months

The best Christmas present ever!!!
I couldnt wait to start building it christmas morning! It is such a beautiful house and looks a lot nicer than in the pictures(i was shocked how this could be possible since the pictures show a lovely cottage!) The instruction booklet is extreamly straight forward and as a 13 year old i found it easy to understand as the pictures are so well put together. And it wasnt just me who was amazed all of my family were very proud and now my littlesister wants one too!! Also father christmas said that it was very well priced for the money! Im a very happy girl! Used for less than a month

I got april cottage as a christmas present and was so pleased as i had been wanting a dolls house since the begining of august .

the reason for me choosing april cottage was because i was not entialy sure on what sort of theme i wanted to go for i found that i could match april cottage to almost every single one so when i did get it i could make up my mind.(in the end i chose country.)

The dolls house emporium were fantastic as with the dolls house i got other offers too! mum said the delivery was very quick as she got it the day after the order!

when i opend the box everything was neatly packed and the finish and quality was outstanding.

when me and my dad built it we found that the instructions were extremly easy to follow and everthing you needed was there (apart from the screwdriver!) and the detail of the house was simply amazing!

when the house was built it looked better then it did on the box. and i did not expect the rooms to be so spacious!

i'm very pleased with the end result and would recomend this beautiful cottage to anyone!

now i can buy my furniture and i could add jenny wrens, a stable, a conservertry, a garden etc..etc...and make it whatever i want it to be!

Nearly one year of fun, and more to come!
My partner gave me this dollshouse last year for Christmas, we went to your shop to choose it and fell in love with this Costwolds style cottage! We decided to choose the QuickStyle option because it was our first project.

It took us a couple to days to put it together (the instructions are clear and simple - and we got a lot of advice for the lights from your staff when we bought it) and then, we added electricity and lights.
We started wallpaper and floors, and left it over the Summer to look after the garden.

We visited a couple of Dollshouse shows to get more ideas, and came back with more wallpaper and floors

The house is now fully wallpapered and lit and it has really come to life even without much furniture.

Our aim is to put the front panel before Christmas and then slowly buy furniture and accessories.

One of my best Christmas present ever! Used for 6-12 months

i got this when i was 12 now im 14 its great to watch it become better and better and more complete. last year i bought the barn to go with it so it looks fab. i was so impressed with this one.. i would definately recommend this to anyone who wants to start a mini world of fun
