Ready to Play houses assemble in minutes and are fully decorated inside and out. All other houses are available built, QuickStyle or kit form, except The Architectural Collection which is only available in kit form. All houses contain everything required to assemble the house, and all windows and doors are assembled for you.

Our precision-made, robust houses slot together and are easily assembled by collectors of all ages and capabilities, following our illustrated, easy-to-follow instructions.

Dolls' Houses and Contents

The dolls' houses are shown fully furnished inside and out. Houses are supplied without furniture, dolls or accessories. A full listing of everything shown in or on the dolls' houses photographed in the catalogue can be found here on our website. All windows and doors are beautifully detailed and handcrafted in wood, and pre-assembled for your convenience.

Doors and Windows

Our wooden doors and windows are made from precision-cut, handcrafted, individual components (not pressed out of MDF). All doors and windows are pre-assembled, as shown in the Builders' Merchants section, ready for you to slot into the openings. Our windows and doors have frames on the inside as well as the outside, ensuring a neat finish and securing the 'window panes'.

Lighting

Lighting is easily installed and is best done during construction. Lighting Sets include the lights shown in the photograph of the open dolls' house, the wiring and transformer and represent very good value. A listing of the lights is shown at the bottom of the dolls' house page. Guides to our simple lighting systems can be found in the 'Lighting is Easy' page of our Help Centre. Lighting Sets for additional properties, e.g. basements, The Barn, etc., usually include only the lights; there is enough wiring and transformer capacity with the house lighting set to also light the basement.

Furniture and Accessories

The dolls' houses are shown fully furnished inside and out. Houses are supplied without furniture, dolls and accessories. A full listing of all the furniture and accessories shown in or on the dolls' houses can be found on our website.

Dolls House Kits

Mimosa Cottage/Fern Villa 'Kit'

Unpainted kits are available for the more adventurous who want to create a unique masterpiece of their own from start to finish. Including all the components, with windows and doors pre-assembled, you have everything you need to create the building as shown in our catalogue, but to your design and colour scheme!

This is a great way to indulge your imagination and relax with a creative hobby.

The Classical Dolls House 'QuickStyle'

The QuickStyle range offers externally-decorated houses with professionally painted and papered exterior walls and white painted ceilings, internal floor edges, stairs, windows and doors. The internal walls and floors are left bare, ready for you to decorate with your own artistic flair. You won't need to mess about with paint and can go straight on to designing your rooms - a happy medium for the creative collector with less time or space!

There are also ready-made grooves to help you fit your lighting, which are easily hidden with your flooring and wallpapers if you do not wish to use lights. Everything you need to build the house is included in the box, with windows and doors pre-assembled

Fully-Finished, Ready to Furnish

Wentworth Court is fully-finished, ready to furnish and screws together. It also has pre-drilled holes to neatly fit your lights as shown in the catalogue picture, which are available as a money-saving set. (Don't worry! These holes are papered over so if you don't want to fit any lights you won't see them!)

This is the perfect option if time and space are limited and you're impatient to get going!

Built houses are carefully constructed by our skilled craftsmen to the highest standard, with all the interior and exterior décor, and lights if chosen, professionally fitted for you.

These hand-crafted houses offer an heirloom gift for someone special or a quick start for your collection so that you can enjoy using your dolls' house immediately. (We regret we are unable to send built houses overseas.)
