Frequently Asked Questions

- What credit cards do you accept?
We use a Thawte secure server certificate which ensures that all sensitive information sent by you - such as credit card numbers - is securely transmitted when you place your order. For customers buying within the UK we accept the following credit cards:- Visa
- MasterCard
- Delta
- Maestro
- Solo
- Amex
- Electron
For customers outside the UK we accept:- Visa
- MasterCard
- Delta
- American Express
- Why does your exchange rate differ from the current rate?
We endeavour to give our customers quality products at the best price and this is achieved by controlling our costs. The prices shown in our catalogues and websites are reflective of the costs involved in marketing and distributing to different global regions. In some cases a specific delivery charge is levied for heavier products to destinations where carriage costs are excessive.
Our prices are set for each region once per year, and we do not adjust prices based on exchange rate fluctuations as this would be impractical to manage and very confusing for our customers.
- In what currency will I be charged?
As The Dolls House Emporium is based in the UK, our default currency is Pounds Sterling. However, we are also able to accept orders in Euros and US Dollars. If you are ordering from an overseas country that doesn't use Euros then you will automatically be charged in US Dollars. Click here to view prices in your preferred currency.
- How do I claim my free gifts online?
As you place your order you will be told what offers you are entitled to. When you check out, any free gifts you are entitiled to will be added to your order. Where a choice of free gifts is available, you will be asked to make your selection on the first page of check out.

- Why can't I see the enlarged images of your products when I click on a thumbnail?
The most likely explanation is that the "Ad Blocking" option in a piece of software from Norton is blocking our images from your web browser. You'll need to turn off the "Ad Blocking" option in order to see the images - click here for instructions. Find out more about why this happens here.
