Decorating Your Dolls' House

Designing decor for your dolls' house is an absolute joy finding wallpaper you love, dressing the windows or distressing the walls, it's all great fun and such a relief to do it at your leisure without all the mess of a full-scale renovation.

Researching architectural and interior styles is very enjoyable and often gives an insight into the way of life for your inhabitants. Whether you choose an older period like Victorian or an uber-cool minimalist style, you'll find lots of guidance and inspiration in libraries, on the internet, at stately houses, museums or art galleries and of course on our dolls house website.

Once you've chosen your style and materials, decorating your dolls' house can be done during the building stage or later on - and it's not as tricky as you might think! Papers can be applied with a normal wallpaper paste or if preferred, a repositionable spray glue, and carpets and some floorings are already backed with adhesive.
