Join a thriving dolls' house community online!

Did you know that there's a thriving dolls' house community online?
Dolls' house fans of all ages share news, knowledge and opinions about their hobby - and much more - at the discussion forum
hosted by The Dolls House Emporium.
Recent topics have included 'What project are you working on?', 'Need to vent some frustration', 'Wrought Iron Stair Rails' and 'Ideas Please!'.
Picture galleries have been uploaded in recent weeks: 'Quayside - my village by the sea', 'Beaufort Hall (to be)', 'A new shop?' and 'Live Laugh Love Shop'.
But often it's not just the messages and images which are notable - we also see some real starts among the forum members.
For instance, we have three members around the 10,000-post mark - that's quite an achievement!
Here's the league table of top posters, with figures correct as we write:
dolly donut 9,539
So let us take this opportunity to thank all 4,500 or so members for keeping the forum a lively, active, informative and - above all - friendly and welcoming place to be.
If you'd like to join in, simply go to the forum and sign up
. We'll verify membership at this end and then it's up to you to make new friends and join in... or simply get ideas and inspiration by leafing through the messages.

We know how many of you enjoy visiting dolls’ house fairs that are regularly held at venues around the country. It’s always worth sharing your thoughts with fellow enthusiasts via the forum
, as well as alerting others to upcoming fairs that they might be interested in. We know, for example, that there is a fair at York racecourse on Sunday 5th June 2011 which you might want to check out if you live nearby. Of course, if it’s fabulous products you’re looking for, then you only have to check out the hundreds of accessories, furniture
and so much more on the main website.

Tomorrow morning from 10am for approximately 2 hours, the website will be closed for maintenance. We are moving the hosting of the website to a new server. What this means is that the website should work slightly quicker for you all and it will allow the web team to make some needed upgrades and improvements on the cogs and levers that allow the website to work. We also hope that it will allow them to add more sparkle and functionality in the future.
Whilst the website is down, why not join us on facebook
and even on our very own forum
to talk about this great hobby!
You can still order your favourite bits and pieces, just give us a call;
