News from the Dickens Festijn of dolls' houses
26 March 2013
We recently published a blog about the
Dickens Festijn in the Netherlands, where we showed some of the creations on display.
The Dolls House Emporium sponsored one of the prizes for exhibitors, and is pleased to have sent £100 in gift vouchers to Mariette Klomp, one of three winners chosen.
She’s been kind enough to send some photos of her creation, which we can share with you here.
Her house, based on The Dolls House Emporium’s previous competition build The Corner Shop, was turned into her vision of Krook’s shop from Bleak House.
Mariette said of her competition win: “It was a big surprise to me to end with second place and I thank you very much for this wonderful prize!”
He entry was showcased in the exposition of Dickens Festijn at Deventer.
