Dolls' house club success story!
14 March 2013
Great news from the Gatwick Dolls House Club, which for over 15 years has not only been oversubscribed – but has been running a waiting list to join!
It meets weekly when more than 30 members go along to their east Surrey meeting place to talk tactics!
The Surrey Mirror
has featured them in an article, with lots of images to browse through too.
It explains how the members have worked together on a scaled-down department store, The Gatwick Emporium.
Chairman Marion Agate told the paper: “We make full miniatures of everything a 1/12th scale, or 1/24th. The smallest thing I have ever made is probably a bottle of nail varnish. There is a lot of patience involved."
